The Hunt for Red October was Alec’s first great hit. In the 2000s he was seen in small but significant roles in movie like State and Main (2000), Pearl Harbor (2001), The Cooler (2003), The Aviator (2004) among others. He was also nominated for the Oscar as the Best Actor in a Supporting Role The Cooler (2003). Throughout his career Alec has been nominated 70 times and has won 42 times at various Awards.

Even as the trend of having plastic surgeries is getting popular among the men in Hollywood, there has never been any rumor about Alec going under the knife.

He hasn’t rejected the idea altogether either. In an interview Alec said that he might consider going under the knife if he felt the need for it. “I am not saying that I wouldn’t do something! I intend to do something, I probably will. Let’s put it this way: I won’t rule it out. . . “

Since no visible changes have been noted in his looks, one might wonder if the actor was even serious about what he said! Celebrity plastic surgeons have also confirmed that Alec had no major surgeries to enhance his looks ever.

If any cosmetic procedure was adopted by the actor at all, in could only include minimal doses of Botox and other fillers.

Dr. Paul S Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California appreciates Baldwin’s natural looks and feels that he is not in need of any plastic surgery.

Dr. Michael Salzhauer on the other hand suggests that if the actor does go under the knife, the results would be great. He suggests a combination of liposuction and a slight enhancement of the jaw line would dramatically improve his features.

Of late, Alec has also lost weight which has definitely improved his appearance. This however is not a result of any plastic interventions that one might think the actor went through.

He had to shed weight after learning about his Para-diabetic condition. The weight loss process might have accelerated with a few tips from his girlfriend Hillary Thomas who is at the YogaVida yoga studio in Union Square, New York.
