CANDICE Swanepoel was born on October 20, 1988 in Mooi River, Kwa- Zulu Natal Province. She was spotted by a model scout in Durban flea when she was 15. She is a model and has posed for many magazines and brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce and Gabanna, Fendi and many others.She in an interview quoted that she had a passion for beauty and fashion from a very young age, so she was thrilled when a talent scout in a flea market spotted her.

According to Candice, she avoids strenuous running and cardio as she burns calories too quickly and sticks to her own body weight in resistance training and pilates/ ballet style exercises which help her in building her strength and muscles.
She says that it is not hard for her to stick to her diet plan. She can manage it easily. Her favourites include pizza and pastas that she believes does not affect her much. The reason being she is thin since her childhood and at the same time has a habit of eating healthy food like veges, proteins, drinks and water.For her she believes she has always maintained a healthy diet and lifestyle. She says she craves for good food especially meat and has grown up on a dairy and beef farm.
