Elizabeth Banks was born on 10 February 1974. Elizabeth started her career as a theatre artist. At the start her career she appeared onscreen in minor supporting roles in various films and TV. She was seen in films like Spider Man (2002), Swept Away (2002), Catch Me if You Can (2002), Seabiscuit (2003) and The 40 year Old Virgin (2005).
It was only after a long wait that Elizabeth was finally seen in leading roles in films like Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008) and W. (2008). Meanwhile she was a recurring face on TV in shows like Scrubs (2001) and 30 Rock (2006). Elizabeth earned Emmy nominations for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for two consecutive years.
Today Elizabeth is a popular actress and has been seen in films like Our Idiot Brother (2011), Man on a Ledge (2012), What to Expect When You are Expecting (2012), People Like Us (2012), Pitch Perfect (2012) and The Hunger Games (2013).
Elizabeth was ranked #39 in the 2010 FHM UK list of 100 Sexiest Women in the World. In an interview once Elizabeth claimed that she isn’t really a fan of plastic surgeries. The idea of going for surgical procedures in order to enhance her looks artificially didn’t seem quite pleasing to the actress. However many people believe that Elizabeth’s claims are false.
It is rumored that the actress did go for cosmetic interventions to improve her looks. Although she didn’t opt for drastic changes, the effect of a surgery is slightly evident on a comparison of her early pictures with the recent ones.
The change is seen in the shape of her nose suggesting a Rhinoplasty. Elizabeth’s nose is almost perfect now. It is slimmer and sharper than before; the tip is also well defined and pointed.
Dr. Jennifer Weldon however doesn’t agree that Elizabeth went for any surgery. She explains that she has a similar width of the mid vault, or middle part of the nose and a slight deviation and under projection of the nasal tip throughout the years. Such characteristics aren’t typically consistent with someone who has undergone a surgery.
Still, not many pictures of the actress’s early life are available to offer substantial proof of the change in her nose. If the actress did go for a rhinoplasty, the result has been great. And in case she didn’t, one must appreciate the great looks the actress has been blessed with naturally.
