Elle Macpherson who was born in New South Wales is an Australian model, actress, television host and businesswoman. She did her schooling from Killara High School and then went to University of Sydney where she studied law for one year. She began modeling in 1982 with a television commercial for Tab which gave a good start to her career. Her charming appearance can be seen on several magazine covers namely Elle, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and many more.

She is also the founder, creative director and primary model for a series of business undertakings. She became famous through her record five appearances for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue which fetched her nickname The Body. She rose to prominence with her frequent appearances on various covers and shows.

Macpherson has also spent three years being the host and executive producer of Britain and Ireland’s Next Top model. Not only this, as an actress she has performed her roles in a superb manner. She had also played recurring role in Friends and has hosted one episode of Saturday Night Life. Elle has received number of awards reflecting her versatility and recognizing her business sense.

Elle is 51 years old and still has the perfect body. Although at her younger age she was told by the doctor that her body had become acidic because of extreme stress, travel and lack of sleep. To keep her health fit she was advised to use a combination of low crab alkaline diet and exercise. This is the reason behind her stunning figure. Her alkaline diet consists mainly of fruits, beans, green leafy vegetables, spices and nuts. She was told by her trainer James Duigan to cut CRAP which means caffeine, refined foods, alcohol and processed foods. It was very difficult for her to stick to a new diet but she somehow managed to do that.

She believes that an alkaline body and ph neutral body is a healthier body. Her routine diet includes: She drinks 500 milliliters of room temperature water at 5 a.m. when she wakes up. Then around 6:30 a.m. she takes breakfast that contains proteins. It is either one poached egg on sunflower or dark rye bread or some Canadian bacon. At 8:30 a.m. she takes two teaspoons of The Super Elixir in cold coconut water.                                                                                                                                                                  For lunch she usually eats vegetarian kale or spinach salad with some ingredients like avocado, beets, sunflower seeds or lentils.  Her snacks include raw almonds soaked in spring water, apples with almond butter or coconut.    For dinner she eats fresh fish and vegetables.

The Australian supermodel believes that alkaline diet has the ability to keep the body in proper shape both inside and out. She is also an exercise addict and works out 45 minutes every day. She is known for her gorgeous figure in the industry and the title The Body aptly suits her. Take a look at
