Hugh Jackman was born on 12 October, 1968 in Sydney. He once said in an interview that he was a huge fan of Friday The 13th film series and became an actor because he wanted to play Jason in one. He first appeared onscreen in the ABC-TV prison drama Correli in 1995. He continued to work in several minor roles as an actor, compere and singer.

Some of the projects that Hugh has been associated with are Beauty and The Beast, Sunset Boulevard, Erskineville Kings, Prisoners, Real Steel, Rise of the Guardians, etc. It was his role of Wolverine in the live-action X-Men films that made him immensely popular. Throughout his career he has been nominated 60 times and has won 19 times at various Awards.

He was nominated at the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for the film Les Miserables in 2012. Hugh also won a Golden Globe for the same.

He was chosen as one of People’s Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” for 5 years in a row from 2000 to 2004. Jackman was also titled World’s Sexiest Man in 2009 for his amazingly good looks coupled with the perfect physique that he has maintained. From 2009 he has been the most ‘requested face’ at various plastic surgery clinics with most men desiring for features just like the star.

Even though the actor never advocated any kind of surgical procedures to his fans, he has definitely been the reason why many people are willing to go for them.

The only cosmetic enhancement Hugh Jackman is believed to have taken is an eyelift. If one compares his early pictures with the ones taken a few years back, a slight puffiness which was present around his eyes earlier is no longer there.

The actor might have opted for a Blepharoplasty commonly known as an eyelift to get rid of the bagginess and excess skin around his lower eyelids.

Apart from the eyelift, Hugh has also had two other minor surgeries. These however were for purely medical reasons. He had the surgery in order to get skin cancer removed from his nose. There were no underlying intentions of a cosmetic enhancement behind the surgeries.

In fact, right after both his surgeries the actor posted his pictures on social media, spreading awareness about skin cancer and requesting his fans to wear sunscreen in order to prevent it.
