Jim Carrey Before and After Plastic Surgery Photos

Jim Carrey was born on 17 January 1962. Jim has been a performer since childhood for anyone who would love to watch. He also worked as a stand up at many clubs before he could finally get a small role in a short lived sitcom The Duck Factory (1984). He became famous for his rubbery body movements and flexible facial expressions.

He took up minor roles in many projects before he finally made a mark with his roles as an alien in Earth Girls Are Easy (1988) and In Living Color (1990). Jim’s career graph has been soaring since then as he gave splendid performances in comic films like Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), The Mask (1994), Dumb and Dumber (1994), Batman Forever (1995), The Cable Guy (1996) and Liar Liar (1997).

Jim tried his hand at something different from comedy with the film The Truman Show (1998). The film was highly appreciated and won him a Golden Globe. He then went on to work in many other successful films in genres ranging from comedy to drama.

Some of these films are Me, Myself and Irene (2000), How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), Bruce Almighty (2003), Spotless Mind 92004), Yes Man (2008), The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013), etc. Throughout his career Jim has managed to get a huge fan following as well as critical acclaim. He has received about 78 nominations and 44 wins at various Awards.

Jim Carrey is one of the few actors in Hollywood who put their work on display rather than their looks. This explains his stand against going for a plastic surgery to alter his looks. Strangely enough, there have still been many rumors about Jim going for plastic surgeries. However both experts as well as the actor himself have denied all such rumors.

His face is very much natural and no signs of any surgery can be traced on his face. Surgeons say that the deep lines and the wrinkles that can be seen on his face are the biggest proofs that he never used any artificial techniques to hide his age. The actor has crow’s feet around his eyes and has quite visible wrinkles and fine lines on his face. There is also a little skin sagging around his neck and chin. Over the years, all these signs of ageing have been increasing.

In an interesting incident, Jim expressed his strong views against surgeries in much more than just words. He appeared at the Teen Choice Awards 2003 in Los Angeles wearing bandages all over his face. He made this move in order to mock rumors that said he underwent excessive plastic surgery in order to maintain his looks.
