Kristen Wiig was born on August 22, 1973. She made her film debut with the hit comedy film Knocked Up (2007). Kristen was lucky enough to get noticed after her first film itself. She went on to work in films like Whip It (2009), Adventureland (2009), Ghost’s Town (2008), Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007), Paul (2011), All Good Things (2010) and How to train your Dragon (2010).

Bridesmaid (2011) proved to be the most successful film of her career. Wiig both wrote and co-starred the film that won several Awards. Wiig also won two Oscar nominations (Best Supporting Actress and Best Original Screenplay) for this film.

Apart from films she was also seen on TV series such as 30 Rock (2006), Bored to Death (2009), Flight of the Conchords (2007) and Saturday Night Live (1975). Saturday Night Live is a landmark project in Wiig’s career where she played memorable characters like Target clerk, Doonese, Penelope, Nancy Pelosy, Suze Orman, etc.

The only plastic surgery rumor that Kristen ever sparked off was about a Rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasy has become one of the most readily available options for Hollywood stars to have a perfect nose. It has become a means to improve the shape and proportion of one’s nose in order to enhance their facial harmony and fit into the standard of Hollywood.

It was in 2011 that people noted a difference in the shape and size of Kristen’s nose. A comparison of her early pictures with the ones taken a few years back would clearly bring out the difference suggesting that Kristen did go for a rhinoplasty. Around the same time Kristen had also taken some time off from work. It is believed that she took this time to recover from the surgery she had.
In her early pictures, Kristen had a thick bridge with a prominent bulbous tip and wide nostrils. Her nose used to be the most prominent feature of her face at that time. For some years now after the rumored surgery her nose has changed much and for the better.

The bridge is narrower and the nostrils are no longer as wide as they used to be. The tip, although not perfectly pointed has lost its bulbous shape to a cute slope. Her nose also looks smaller than before.

Although Kristen never confessed to going for a rhinoplasty, expert surgeons like Dr. Michael Salzhauer agree that she got her nose reshaped with the help of a rhinoplasty. He points out how her nose appears shorter and that the bridge has a slight slope and the tip also looks more defined and narrower now.

This surgery definitely enhanced Kristen’s facial harmony. The change however is not that drastic and Kristen continues to look natural even after it.
