Sofía Margarita Vergara , the star of the family comedy show, Modern Family, is a Colombian-born American actress, comedian, producer, model and businesswoman. Vergara’s success on television has landed her roles in films like The Smurfs (2011), New Year’s Eve (2011), The Three Stooges (2012), Machete Kills (2013), Chef (2014), and Hot Pursuit (2015). In 2012 and 2013, she was one of the highest earning actress on US television. Sofia is nothing like the dumb character that she portrays in Modern Family. She was educated at a private bilingual (Spanish/English) school. Then she went on to study pre-dentistry.

Although she has given up junk food but till now, she loves to eat ice-cream and enjoys every bit of it to the fullest. Besides her strict workout regime, her diet plan also plays a significant role in maintaining her curves. She eats meals 5 small times in a day. All her meals are a balanced mix of all the nutrients.
